JOIN AS AN OFFICER
Should have attained a minimum of 4 CSEC (Grades 1,2,3) or the equivalent based on the national qualifications framework. (English Language is essential).

JOIN AS AN ADULT RANK
Should be an ex Cadet with minimum Star 2 and have attained a minimum of 3 CSEC (Grades 1,2,3) or the equivalent based on the national qualifications framework (English Language is essential). NB: Not applicable to Adult Corporals.

JOIN AS A CADET
Should be of high school age and enrolled in a secondary institution of Jamaica. Contact the officer in charge of the Cadet Unit at your school.
